"Life has a funny way of suddenly moving in a different direction and pace, but it's learning how to cope with these changes that can make us stronger. The character in my painting is resisting such a change, the wheel is your body travelling through life holding your heart in check when required, but the heat being generated is the friction and tension that occurs when facing such an event. You're faced with a decision to go with it or fight it to the end; just remember that sometimes we have to fall so we can learn how to pick ourselves up again. "
