My artistic inspiration still comes from the great master Turner, but I also want to combine the drama of his work with the subtleness of Whistler's 'Nocturne' series. At the same time, there needs to be a Lawrence Coulson touch. Quite a challenge, but one I'm ready to work at.
When asked some years ago what my professional ambition was, I answered that I wanted to produce work that would be hung in museums. That still holds true today; I truly believe that I'm one step closer to it."
